Our customers
But let’s not forget about the most important part of our business — you! We love being able to make a difference to our clients, helping them reduce business energy costs and become more sustainable. But don’t just take our word for it — hear from our happy customers who’ve seen the benefits of our services first-hand.
Our Renew & Sustain team had the privilege of working with Daish’s Hotels, a renowned hospitality brand operating 12 luxury hotels across 10 popular UK resorts. These hotels are well-known for their impeccable services, elegant ambience and diverse amenities, catering to a wide range of guests, including leisure travellers, business professionals and event organisers.
During our initial call, we identified two critical challenges that Daish’s Hotels faced: frequent water leaks causing financial losses, a complicated billing system leading to inaccuracies, and a lack of transparency in managing utility expenses.
To address these pressing issues, we implemented a comprehensive strategy. We conducted a thorough water audit, analysing water usage patterns in each hotel to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Using leak detection technologies, we identified and rectified sources of water leakage, significantly reducing water losses and conserving resources.
As part of our commitment to providing personalised energy consulting services, we assigned a dedicated energy consultant to the business. The consultant served as a single point of contact for all water-related matters, offering ongoing support, monitoring water usage and promptly addressing any concerns raised by both management and guests. The presence of a dedicated energy consultant not only strengthened the hotel’s energy management but also fostered a culture of sustainability and responsible resource usage.
The successful implementation of our energy efficiency measures and transparent billing system made way for significant cost savings for Daish’s Hotels. The reduction in water losses led to substantial financial savings, while the streamlined billing process enhanced the hotel’s overall operational efficiency.
Through our collaboration, we are proud to have saved Daish’s Hotels an impressive £72,556.15 over the term of the contract, marking a milestone achievement in their journey towards sustainability and efficiency.
We were recently successful in helping JTAPE, releasing them from their overpriced contract saving £372,000 over the term of the agreement. JTAPE, a leading tape manufacturing company based in Cheshire, has taken immense pride in their journey since their founding in 2003. Their extensive product portfolio consists of over 2,000 unique lines and their products have found their way into diverse global markets.
From automotive and marine to aerospace, construction, industrial, rail, trade and creative sectors, they’ve tailored tapes to meet the distinct requirements of each industry they distribute to.
Our Renew & Sustain team was eager to assist JTAPE after our initial conversation. It was clear that they were being overcharged in their current energy contract, leading to a thorough account investigation and a site visit. We discovered that the meter was incapable of handling the power being transported through it. This unfortunate situation led to downtime, reducing the overall output of the factory.
Determined to offer our support, we set out to help them resolve this issue and find a more suitable and affordable energy solution. We understood the urgency of the matter and wasted no time addressing it. With the root cause now identified, our focus shifted to working closely with JTAPE to rectify the problem. We put them in contact with the DNO and got them a cheaper offer for the meter and KVA to be upgraded. We explored alternative energy contracts that would better align with JTAPE’s energy needs, aiming to optimise their energy consumption and reduce costs. We managed to help them exit their current contract at no cost and find a more suitable agreement at half the price.
Throughout the process, clear and consistent communication with JTAPE was our top priority. We wanted to keep them well-informed about the progress we were making and the potential solutions we were exploring. After all, our ultimate goal was to empower JTAPE with the necessary knowledge to make decisions for their energy needs. It’s our duty and pleasure to assist clients like JTAPE, especially during energy-related crises. We take pride in our expertise and dedication, and we believe that our dedicated support can make a significant difference in helping JTAPE overcome this challenging situation and ultimately find a more sustainable and affordable energy solution.
Moving forward, we assured JTAPE that they would have our full support. We understood the importance of not only resolving their current energy issues but also providing ongoing assistance.
We appointed a dedicated account manager to JTAPE. This individual would be their primary point of contact, always ready to address any concerns and provide updates. By providing JTAPE with continuous support and a dedicated account manager, we can ensure that their needs are met effectively and their experience with Renew & Sustain remains positive and satisfying. We regularly check in with them to understand their evolving requirements and address any concerns.
We find this approach leads to a strong client-company relationship and allows JTAPE to focus on their priorities and focus on growth.
Martin House Children’s Hospice’s strategic energy contract procurement and meter alignment efforts drive operational cost savings and reduce its environmental impact.
Following our involvement with Martin House and learning about their work, we pledged our support. Martin House Children’s Hospice is a UK-based regional charity that provides family-led hospice care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across West, North and East Yorkshire. As one of the leading children’s palliative care providers in the UK, the hospice offers a home-from-home environment in a beautiful setting where children, young people and their families can stay at no cost. Martin House offers the chance for families to have fun and relax, enjoy activities and trips out, make lasting memories and get a good night’s sleep with the reassurance and support of a team of specialist doctors, nurses and therapists.
After our initial call with Martin House, it became evident that they were facing significant challenges with their energy accounts. They were working with multiple suppliers and juggling various contracts, each with different end dates. This complex energy landscape made it difficult for Martin House to efficiently manage their energy consumption and costs. As part of our commitment to supporting their mission, we recognised the need to streamline their energy practices, consolidate contracts and negotiate more favourable terms to optimise their resources and operational efficiency.
We addressed Martin House’s energy account challenges by conducting a thorough analysis of their current contracts and terms. This analysis helped us identify opportunities to consolidate and streamline their energy contracts, making their management more straightforward. Engaging in negotiations with energy suppliers, we successfully secured more beneficial terms and aligned contract end dates, ultimately optimising their resources and minimising admin.
We make sure to keep track of Martin House’s energy usage closely. They have a dedicated account manager here at Renew & Sustain who communicates regularly with them to collect detailed data on their energy consumption, such as meter readings and patterns. This helps us make informed decisions to optimise their energy resources effectively for future purposes.
Our appreciation for the impactful work Martin House does led us to pledge £25,000 a year. Impressed by their dedication to giving the best possible care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting illnesses, along with their families, we felt compelled to contribute to their mission to be there when families need them the most. This pledge represents our commitment to enabling Martin House to continue to provide families with the vital support they need and making a positive difference in the lives of babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. We are proud to support Martin House and share its vision for every child and young person to have palliative care when and where they need it.
